Function of Automobile Oxygen Sensor in Electric Vehicle


1.The oxygen sensor detects the oxygen concentration in the exhaust at any time and feeds back signals to the microcomputer control device at any time. The microcomputer will timely adjust the injection quantity and injection pulse width according to the feedback signal). If the signal indicates that the mixture is rich, reduce the injection time. Otherwise, if the signal indicates that the mixture is lean, extend the injection time. Therefore, the air-fuel ratio of the mixture is always kept at the theoretical air-fuel ratio, which is always close to the theoretical air-fuel ratio. This is fuel closed-loop control or fuel feedback control.


2.The commonly used oxygen sensors are zirconia type and titanium oxide type.


3.Taking the oxidation error as an example, under normal circumstances, the voltage signal of the oxygen sensor fluctuates between 0 and 1V during closed-loop control, with an average value of about 450mV. When the mixed gas concentration is slightly thicker than the theoretical air-fuel ratio, the oxygen sensor generates a high voltage signal of about 800m; When the mixture concentration is slightly thinner than the theoretical air-fuel ratio, the oxygen sensor generates a low voltage signal close to 100mV. Therefore, it can be said that the oxygen sensor is a "communicator" who feeds back the air-fuel ratio information to the microcomputer at any time.
